Some important scenes were filmed in Evanston, a suburb of Chicago located on the North Shore along Lake Michigan. The Daily Northwestern reported that the crew rented space for filming in the Centennial Recreation Complex parking lot, situated between Evanston and Wilmette.
The cast and crew were also seen setting up for filming on Harrison Street and Lincolnwood Drive in Evanston, as mentioned by The Daily Northwestern.

Like Season 1, much of Season 2 was filmed in Chicago, Illinois.
