Trivia and Facts
- It was one of two movies that brought Don Knotts and Darren McGavin together. They later co-starred in another movie “Hot Lead and Cold Feet” in 1978 which was also a Walt Disney Pictures production.
- Interestingly, both Don Knotts and Darren McGavin passed away within a few hours of each other on Saturday, February 25, 2006.
- In the scene where Bert is trying to open a safe, there was a goof. He is seen wrapping the tape around his fingers once but in the next shot, he is seen wrapping it around his fingers again.
