Trivia and Facts
The airport scenes were filmed at Wendover Airfield, Utah, a former US Army Airfield, which was the base for “Enola Gay”, the B-29 that dropped the first nuclear bomb on Hiroshima during World War 2.
The red car shown at the airport is a 65 Pontiac GTO. However, a different car, a 68 Olds, was used in the driving scenes. So keen observers might spot the alternating cars!
