The production of Inkheart took place in a variety of beautiful locations. The English countryside was explored with scenes shot in Hever Castle, located in Hever, Edenbridge, Kent. Venturing abroad, the team filmed in Balestrino and the famed Italian Riviera, both in Liguria, Italy.
