Gravity’ was filmed in a few different locations. Parts of the production took place in a simulated ‘Space’. Other scenes were shot at Lake Powell, which is in Arizona in the USA. The movie was also filmed in the UK, specifically at Shepperton Studios in Surrey and at Pinewood Studios – both the main site and B Stage – located in Buckinghamshire. Filming took place between May 14, 2011 and July 6, 2011.
