- One of the interesting trivia for this film is that at the beginning, Gallo is seen watching a movie, “Kiss of Death” (1947). The character he attributes to in the film is Tommy Udo, enacted by Richard Widmark. Intriguingly, it was the performance that marked Widmark’s entry into the limelight.
