- The film’s post-production process was minimal, and as such, Albert Brooks submitted the final cut earlier than scheduled. This led to the US release date being moved up.
- A visible goof in the film is when Albert, under the influence of Quaaludes, places a record in the turntable. The arm of the device can be seen retracting and returning from the spindle, despite the music still playing.
