- The film was not only shot in Thailand, but throughout its production, it also faced cultural conflicts among the American, Hong Kong, and Thai crews.
- Since the film did not have access to movie-guns, all the weapons in the film were real and were loaded with live ammunition during shooting.
- Another interesting fact is that while shooting for the film, the explosive crew even had access to handguns, and they also had Thai Special Forces, and Thai police involved.
- During an action scene inside a boxing ring, a black-haired stuntman did the somersault instead of Loren Avedon, the actor playing Scott Wylde.
